Performing again at Middle C Jazz, where this marks his fifth appearance since 2020, catch the Sean Mason Trio, where Sean Mason plays the piano, Felix Moseholm on bass, and Domo Branch on drums, live as they bring State of the Art, Mason's new album on his own label, Taylor Christian Records. The trio on stage is the same lineup that recorded the album, giving audiences to hear the new material performed live by the group that made it, in the same room where Mason has built a genuine history over the past several years.
For several years, Mason also hosted an annual run of A Charlie Brown Christmas shows at the venue each December, through 2022, a holiday tradition that made Middle C Jazz a regular stop on his calendar well before this current tour. That history, five appearances and a multi-year residency, places this show firmly within an ongoing relationship with the room rather than a one-off tour stop.

About Middle C Jazz
Middle C Jazz is a live jazz club in Uptown Charlotte, an intimate, roughly 190-seat room built specifically for artists to perform, record release shows, and connect with an audience, alongside a full bar and small plates menu. The venue was founded by Larry Farber, a longtime entertainment booking agent and UNC Chapel Hill graduate who spent decades in the industry as a senior partner at EastCoast Entertainment before retiring to build the club, opening its doors in November 2019 after Farber spent years studying other jazz rooms around the country to shape the concept.
