The Process
I write each lead sheet by hand, then work with my engraver through multiple rounds of revisions until the final notation represents the composition as clearly as possible.

The Mission
My goal is to give jazz musicians new repertoire to learn, teach, perform, interpret, and make their own. I self-publish my music because I want a direct relationship with the musicians playing my compositions, without the need for a gatekeeper.

The Vision
My hope is that my compositions live beyond my own recordings, and that they become part of the jazz repertoire that will be passed on between musicians, students, educators, and ensembles for generations to come.
I’m deeply grateful to every musician, student, educator, and ensemble who chooses to spend time with my music. Every time you learn a composition, teach it, perform it, or make it your own, you give it a life beyond anything I could create by myself. Thank you for carrying the music forward.
